What we hold, and why
This covers milegobbler.in and the Mile Gobbler app. It is written plainly because a policy nobody reads protects nobody. Last updated 17 September 2026.
The short version
Three things worth knowing up front
-
Browsing is anonymous
This website carries no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and sets no cookies. You can read every page of it without us learning that you did.
-
An account is your choice
We only hold personal details once you create an account to apply for membership or book a trail. Everything we ask for at that point is on this page.
-
You can delete it yourself
Profile → Delete your account, in the app. It removes your account and your record with the club straight away. Nobody has to approve it.
What we collect
Only what running a convoy needs
To create your account
Your email address and a password. The password is hashed; we never see it.
When you apply to the club
Your name, phone number, what you drive, how it is modified, what you have done offroad before, and an emergency contact's name and number. You may optionally add an Instagram handle and a profile photo.
The emergency contact is the one field here that is not about convenience. Trails run out of mobile coverage, and a Marshal who needs that number will need it badly. It is visible only to club administrators.
When you book a trail
Which trail, how many guests you are bringing, the vehicle you are bringing, the amount due, and whether you turned up. Attendance is what earns Silver, Gold and Platinum, so we keep a record of the trails you have run.
When you pay
Payments are taken by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay and never reach us. We store only what Razorpay hands back: an order reference, a payment reference, the amount, the method and whether it succeeded.
Who else sees it
The services this runs on
-
Supabase
Holds the database and the sign-in system. Our data sits in their Mumbai region, so it stays in India.
-
Razorpay
Takes payments and holds the card and UPI details we never receive. Their own privacy policy governs what they keep.
-
Netlify
Serves this website. Like any web host it logs requests, including IP addresses, for a short period to keep the site running.
-
Apple and Google
Distribute the app and tell us how many people installed it. They do not receive your club record.
Inside the club, your membership application and your bookings are visible to the Marshals and administrators who run the trails. They are not visible to other members. We do not sell anything to anybody, and we do not share your details with advertisers, brokers or sponsors.
Your say
Keeping it, and getting rid of it
How long we keep it
Your account and everything attached to it stays until you delete it. Razorpay keeps its own record of transactions under its terms and Indian financial rules, and deleting your account here does not reach into theirs.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Profile and choose Delete your account. This removes your profile, your vehicle and emergency details, your bookings and your badge record. It cannot be undone, and you would have to apply to the club again. If you cannot reach the app, message us and we will do it for you.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, and have it erased. Most of it you can read and edit yourself on the Profile screen. For anything else, ask us.
Age
Trails involve driving, so accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly hold details of anyone under 18. If a child's details have reached us, tell us and we will remove them.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Anything that materially affects you will be announced in the app as well.
